Red Light Therapy refers to both red light and near-infrared wave lengths of light which stimulate beneficial biological processes.

The power of Red Light Therapy was first discovered in the late 1980's by NASA scientists who were studying ways to grow plants in space. The scientists found their hand wounds healed faster when exposed to the lights.


How does Red Light Therapy work?
When red light absorbs into the skin, it stimulates / energises cells which improve the overall functioning of the body and promotes effective healing.

How often do you need Red Light Therapy?
We generally recommend that you undertake a series of sessions over an 8 weeks, with between 1-5 sessions per week for the first 4 weeks, weening to less sessions over the next 4 weeks. Please reach out to us for a recommendation tailored to your needs.
